In this clip, we're going to be customizing our drop zones. Basically, a drop zone is
an area within a theme, that you can fill with photos, slide shows, or movies and it's
a way of kind of customizing and jazzing up the background a little bit. Now, we have
our menu in motion here, I'm going to stop this for a second, cause I just find it easier
to work on a menu when it's not moving. Now, right next to this motion button here, that
we use to start and stop the motion of the menu, right next to it on the right hand side
is your edit drop zone button. Let's click on that. Now, you see a bunch of little numbered
drop zones down here and these numbers correspond to the numbers in the drop zones above in
the menu. You can see that we have six drop zones that we can customize. Now, if we scroll
back to the beginning of our menu, you see drop zone number five is our first drop zone
that appears, and we're going to add a photo to this drop zone. Now, you don't have to
add media in the order that these drop zones appear, you can add, you know, whichever one
you like at any time, so I'm going to work on drop zone number five here. Now, we already
have our photos folder open here, and we can see some photos that are in our browser. I'm
going to choose this one here, that is a shot of the bride and groom kissing. Now, you can
drag a drop zone directly from the browser into the drop zone, or let's remove this,
you can drag it to the actual number. Now, you saw me remove it, the quickest way to
remove from a drop zone is just to click on it, bring it to the side, you see a little
puff of smoke, and similarly you could take it right out of the drop zone number down
below, so either way, that works. O.k, so let's go back to our, by adding the drop zone
into number five. Now you can see that this is off center because of the shape of the
drop zone doesn't really correspond to the shape of the still, and we can move that and,
all you have to do is click on it, and while holding down the command button, you can reposition
it, and center it. So, that's nice there. Now, once you've start up the motion of your
menu, you can see that the drop zones go by, and our first drop zone as it fades up, is
that still that we just added. So, that's how you add a still to a drop zone, and also
how you can reposition it within the drop zone.
