I have no idea whether what I'll do with my life is going to even slightly change the world.
I have no idea where I'll be in 10 years ,I don't know if these words will ever make somebody think.
I know that I'm a part of something infinite, huge and that whatever I do today, somehow,
will be able to change something tomorrow, even miles away from me
I believe that we're all deeply linked to one another,
united, similar, close even if we're far
We're all similar in our mistakes and our frailties,
we're all frightened, misunderstood, but we all need something,
something we need to seek for, for better or worse,
to reinvent ourselves, always.
I wish these words could travel around the world,
I wish they could be handed down by lots of people,
I hope, some day, they'll return to me and bring me some understanding
every person we'll ever come across with, in our life,
even just for a moment, will give us something,
perhaps, we will walk together for a few days,
maybe for a few months, a few years
and, in the best case scenario, we will hold their hand for the rest of our life
No matter when or how long. What matters is how.
Some people will change your life,
somebody will teach you something, some other will make you feel mistaken.
some person will think more highly of you than you would ever do yourself.
Learn how to grab something from every person you meet.
Yes. Grab something from each person you'll meet.
Grab something from the elderly man lining next to you at the post office
who can't wait for his far son to receive the package he's about to send.
Grab something from the mother waiting for his son to get out of school.
Grab something from whom puts you down and says you're wrong,
from people who like you for who you are,
from whom knows all your limits but is always next to you.
Take some time to think about things, to appreciate your parents
to appreciate a favor someone did to you without asking for anything in return.
An unexpected gift, for that time you were forgiven and you didn't know it would happen.
Thank people more often.
When they hold the door for you, when they help you cross the road,
when they give you that little missing coin for the parking meter.
Appreciate what you have and make it better. But above all, make yourself better.
In every possible way.
Lastly, learn from your mistakes. They help you not to make bad decisions anymore.
