Aubrey: Hi guys, my name is Aubrey Areangel. I'm a former specialist in the US Army, and
I'm here to answer questions about the Iraq war and Iraq veterans.
Aubrey: Yes?
Student 1: Was it really hot?
Students: Laughing
Aubrey: Of course it was hot, it was the desert.
Student 2: Were you at the front lines?
Aubrey: In Iraq, there are no front lines. Almost everybody serving is in harm's way.
Student 3: Do women soldiers see less combat than men?
Aubrey: No, both men and women alike are in danger everyday in Iraq.
Student 4: Have you killed anybody?
Aubrey: I get that question sometimes. It's tough. It's war. Not a good question.
Student 5: What's a good question?
Aubrey: How are you? Are you doin' okay? Those are good questions. Some of us are doing fine;
others are dealing with post traumatic stress and combat stress. It's different for everybody.
Any other questions?
