Jose Luis Mendoza called me and made this possible.
This sculpture reflects, or at least is what I intended,
the force of John Paul II and the greatness of his soul.
There are two crosses on the sculpture,
one that leads in the left hand with the figure of Christ on the cross,
and the other is his own glorious cross in him,
which is the cross we see in the chest.
The greatness of the soul of John Paul II is reflected in the cross and will always be alive.
If you lend it attention, I don't need to explain it.
The artwork should be asked,
and if you ask this sculpture...
it will tell you all the adventures he has lived to be as it is now.
