Hey, everybody. It's SqueegeeLuigi999.
And I'm going to show you how to make a locked door in Minecraft.
Now, I know a lot of you,
have been watching some of the already existing videos,
and have been getting really confused about what they mean.
Well, be confused no longer, because I'm going to try to the best that I can,
to explain how to make a locked door with MORE than just two switches.
What you're going to need is: an iron door, some redstone, some redstone torches, some dirt, and 2 switches.
Now, what we're going to do, is put a frame in for the door.
Right, because, a lot of doors need a frame.
You don't need to do this part, but it's very necessary if you're building a house.
Now, what we need to do, is- Oh, you have to- you absolutely have to place the door from the side.
Like this... Or else it won't work.
Please do this or else it really won't work.
Now, what we'll do,
is, we'll put these two thing-a-ma-jigs here,
and then we'll have one switch here, and the other switch here.
So now, what we want to do,
is bring the wiring around back.
So now what we do, is we take out our redstone,
and make a line connecting both of these torches.
Next, we put redstone connecting the switches to the torches.
Like so.
So now what we do, is we connect the redstone, to the door.
So now it shuts.
That's because neither of the switches are pressed.
So now, if we press both of these switches, the door will open.
But when we have only one of the switches pressed, it won't open.
Now, you can add as many switches as you want onto this.
Like, let's add another switch over here.
Like so.
*MOO!*
And we'll bring this wiring all the way over here,
and place another redstone torch.
*MOO!*
Shut up, cow!
*MOO!*
Daytime...
Now, if we just connect this switch,
and if we have, this switch, this switch, and this switch pressed,
it will open.
But, if you only have two or one of the switches pressed, then it will not work.
Like so.
You can do this with as many switches as you want.
Also, it works with pressure plates, however,
it only works with pressure plates if you have something standing on top of them the entire time.
You need power to be going to it the entire time.
Like it wouldn't work for buttons.
So now, what I've gone ahead and done,
is, I've made a whole house, with a locked door.
Like so.
And it works.
And I'll show you the redstone mechanisms.
They're not too complex, but it seems complex because I was tight for space.
So we have that lever, and that lever,
joining here, going up and around, and hitting the door.
Nothing too complicated...
Now, I could've added more if I wanted to, but I didn't.
So, there you have it!
That is how to make a locked door in Minecraft!
So now what you can do, is you can make one,
and you can have like, hints and passwords, and all sorts of other neat stuff in challenges...
Alright, ummm, this has been a SqueegeeLuigi999 production.
