One of the aspects that's new with Sytrus in terms of envelopes is that the envelopes
can actually apply to the pitch as well and in using the adding more lines and types in
the envelopes you can actually use it to write melodies inside the thing itself. I'll show
you what that means. Here I have a Sytrus pre-set where in the original creator put
in its his own movement lines in the pitch settings. This is what it sounds like when
hold on up. If I were to move one of these lines, you can see how it changes it pretty
immediately
and that's how you in order to get to this menu, you go to the oscillator and move this
line up until you see "pitch" and then you go to the LFO. You go to the environment,
the envelope selector and then you can edit the envelope by creating more more lines or
editing the lines that are already there. It's pretty simple and pretty basic and that's
what you can do to do that and playing there you can edit your own melodies directly in
there instead of having to play it, you only hold down one note and it'll play the entire
melody for you.
