>>Maclaine: But ya'll are state cupholders I mean there's not problem about what sharing
it with any if you want to see it to understand; it's not, it's not final, it's not publishing,
not bringing enough copies today because of last weak I bough twenty-five copies we had
boxes full. (Someone: The issue with that for fourteen em and see is reapelled, then
will the shelters shut down?) I think that's the eventual edition is that they will, or
will they pay minimum wage? There two tracks here (Someone: I have something to get used
to live in a supervise facility for five years I know that there really were only outimed
for allowing the clients plus to go the shelters, and I am just thinking I can't imagined not
all but the majority of the shelter workshops that he went to were that they were fight
back devoted into the client so my concern is will there be something else to take their
place to decide that they will go out, and go wonder. Well; I think the recommendation
is for the phase out, it's not for a closumal on this day, but I think part of what bought
a vision is that some of those individuals would with discovery, or customarise employment
support employment find a jobin the community if they actually helped in doing that, some
of them would do that, perhaps will get pay minimum wage maybe they wouldn't work as many
hours well if they work they will get pay minimum wage. (Someone: I just remembered
about staying on a float of grant, a hundred grants will go down, inspire that something
workshops, or maybe months, another grant was pernucular that's why.) See right now;
Our medicaid system helped paid for some of that it's turned as pre-vocational but then
the ultimate if it is pre-vocational then there supposed to eventually move on to something
else, and that's not always happenning. We got seventy semi-rod Shelter Workshops in
the state so we're not. (Someone: This was in Illinois, I doubt the Shelter Workshops
were terribly different.) Yeah! So; that's a long range thing so I have to confess I
haven't read the full red report , and they talk about phasing out. Actually they are
talking out over five, or ten years so just like down sizing facilities, or closing facilities
so there will be lots of time to figured out what options will be there. For some people
who can't work, or won't there will be someday programs of some sort. I know this was talked
about a little last weak. (Someone: So that was your Severe, and Profound Population these
options were dying program.) That's the idea of when the employment first efforts have
determined that employment is not suited for that person. I mean my kid will tell you that
anyone can be employed but it doesn't mean that everyone wants to be, or that there will
be this service to get them employed. So yes; that's what I was hearing. Last weak; was
that eventually, was it last weak? Maybe it was on that call we had. We have done so much
of it recently but it was talking about quality day programs eventually as an alternative
for those that need that alternative. Any other questions! >>Mike: And one of the things
I want to help that you guys could do, and I understand that you very clear, and understandable
was the need to focus your areas of focus to do a number, and I think I ever bet the
issue of customized employment lumes as a, an aspect of all these issues, and if we don't,
if customized isn't recognized then things like employment first comes an empty promise.
The whole issue of fourteen C of, you have huge numbers of people that wouldn't be able
to employed so I hope that you guys could figured out not to unique, and singular focus
on customize that becomes a topic of all the discussions of each of the areas you have,
that's a dauable thing, I hope that a consortion could embrace customized with all over the
marching theme that will be reinvented in all areas of folks. >>MaClaine: Right! And
I think we intend that it is because we have spent so much energy through the consortion
teaching people about it, learning about it, so I am not necessarily so we have to pick
our strategy into respect those inversibles that Mike had got for his pilot project. You
know I am ready to push for those right now, we may decide politically let's play out a
Pilot Project for a year, and let's push a forum but about time, it's definitely interovent
in here. >>Mike: Okay! >>MaClaine: Hopefully; you will see that more in a full report . (Someone:
To me; it falls the words may not be in there Mike but under two under adult under intergrated
employment that much information I think clearly that words is a person even though you may
not get word customized employment anyways but I am impressed.) Yeah; and again; (Someone:
Yeah!) these are broad priorities at this, and the action plans in the strategies are
still in work in progress over the next weak, and a half. >>Jerry: And do you want to give
you a timeline? Like you did for us! (Maclaine: Right!) With all of the inputs seriously.
Maclaine: A weak, and a half, well; we said; two weaks, last tuesday so we can have two
weaks. Yeah within the next two weaks if you would please take a look that there should
be a messenger, or give me a phone call because this is, we IDRS have done the bowl book of
this, and it's our word. Hopefully; it's just not our ideas; we have that with the other
groups but we really likelots of other people's words as well as ideas at this point as we
move forward, and we still trying to understand some pieces as we as understand those, and
double check we promised in the MRU, and I will make it available soon as possible I
will have permission to do. >>Jerry: Do ya'll have a Tee three number too? >>Maclaine: We
do, and I am going to write this information. Eight hundred! >>Mike: That's easy! >>Someone:
I left my card too. (Writing on board) >>Maclaine: Seven, seven, two, (Someone: Four, zero, five,
seven.) Yeah; my name is Ann MaClaine; the way it is spelled here. If you don't spelled
it right, I won't get it so. (Em ay see el ay eye en e) All right; thank ya'll! (Crowd:
Thank you!) Is that mine? (Clapping)
