Hi guys today I'm going to show you how to make polymer clay miniature fruit pastry.
First I'm going to prepare base for puff pastry tartletette by taking piece of tan clay and
shaping a cube.
I'm using my fingers to create a dimple on one side where later on we're going to add
fruits.
Now I'm going to grab needle tool and start making shallow lines on four sides of the
cube, leaving top and bottom plain and untextured.
At this point your tartalette should look something like this. Now you want to take toothbrush
and texture the top ever so slightly.
Here I'm using soft pastels and make up brush to shade it nicely.
My puff pastry tartalet base is ready and now I'm going to make tart base.
Again I'm using piece of tan clay but this time I'm going to place in the cupcake mold.
As you can see I'm using my thumb to create a dimple in the middle for cream and fruits.
I'm going to pop it out of the mold now and use toothbrush to give it a little bit of
texture.
Now I'm going to shade it with soft pastels and it's ready to decorate.
I'm mixing pieces of white clay with fimo liquid to get nice smooth cream which i'm
going to spread on the top of both cakes evenly.
Now we can finally jump into preparing fruits.First we're going to make peach halves simply by
taking ball of orange clay and gently flatten a half of it.
Moving on we're going to make strawberries.
You want to take a piece of red clay and shape a cone.I'm going to take a razor now and cut
it in halves.
Finally I'm going to use needle tool to create tiny dots on both halves.
Here I'm mixing translucent and bright green clay to get a nice grape color. All I'm going
to do now is shape tiny balls.
To create blueberry I'm going to mix blue and black clay and shape a ball.
I'm going to use dotting tool to create a dimple and then create shallow cuts using x-acto knife.
OK.now I'm going to take cherry red clay and create a cone that I'm going to then place
on the needle tool.I'm going to attach tiny little balls trying to cover it all around.
Finally I'm attaching fruits on the top of my already prepared tart and tartalette bases
and bake them according to my clay instruction.
I'm going to wait until my creations cool down compeletly and then glaze them using
gloss varnish.
And that's it.I hope your going to like this video. If you do don't forget to give it a
thumbs up and subscribe for more polymer clay tutorials and diy ideas. Thanks for watching
