You want to find someone's criminal record. Hi, I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer,
how do I find someone's criminal record? Well, first of all, if you know the county or municipality
in which they live, you may want to just simply make a trip to the local courthouse and check
the local criminal courthouse records. These are free and accessible to the public at large.
Then, if that doesn't turn up anything, you may want to try one of the databases on the
Internet for the particular state that this person lives in. Sometimes, that's free of
charge and sometimes there are fees associated with such a check. There are also other national
databases that provide criminal records on individuals, but these national databases
are sometimes very expensive or you have to be associated with an organization or an entity
that has access to these databases. And, again, they are expensive. Of course, you can always
hire a private investigator, but I would advise you not to do so. That's probably the most
expensive way to do this. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching.
