Now that Karma has her confidence on the teeter with me helping her, we're going to work from
a distance and start asking her to enter from different angles. Just like with any of the
obstacles, as soon as your dog is confident, start challenging them and let them work from
different angles. Because you never know which way you are going to need to approach when
you're doing a full course. "Ready, stay, teeter. Good" Now she's going to wait there.
She tends to sit at the end if she's not asked to move on. And then:"Free! Good". She gets
a reward for coming off the teeter quickly. Now, working that angle, and working any angle,
you want to make sure that they are not missing the yellow contacts. So take small increments.
Working them close to it, working them a distance from the obstacle; so that they always have
the opportunity to do it correctly, and perform well for you later. "Karma, come on; good,
good, good. Good!"
