We're going to talk about our Eyedropper Tool now. If we look at our screen we can see that
over here we have the picture of this mountain range with this grass here, and the red boat
with some oars, blah, blah, blah. It's a typical picture. If we come up here, and press this
button here, you can see that if we just bring our cursor over the top of it you'll read
Eyedropper Tool, with the shortcut I, which is very important to remember. Now if we come
over here, and say I want to select this blue here, because I'm going to paint over these
mountains. So if I select that blue there it is right there on my pallet, and if I hit
my brush tool, let's bring my brush tool up, bring this opacity oops, let's undo that,
control Z. Let's bring this opacity up to a hundred percent. There we go. Now if I paint
over these mountains it is the exact blue from that I chose here. Now as you can see,
the blue differs from here, and if I want to start blending it, I can just hit my shortcut
key I, to come up here, and grab my blue again, and it will come up here. And we'll just hit,
back to my brush tool, shortcut B, and I can brush the dark blue down here, which doesn't
look very good. That's not the proper color we want. But anyway, as you can see this is
your Eyedropper Tool, and this is how you would use it. Always remember to use your
shortcut keys, because your shortcut I is very important when you're doing your work
flow, so play around with it, have fun, and enjoy.
