What up youtube. Topaz Yates back with another daily review this time to Daylyt Black queen.
A song dedicated to the recently deceased Afeni Shakur. I like that because if anyone
deserves a dedication song it was her. It just threw me for a curve in the first verse
as it was centered around her giving birth to 2pac. I love that you groomed a legend
in hip hop but she was much more than that. Go back to 1971 she was one of the 19 black
panthers rounded up over conspiracy to bomb police stations, much like how they did the
100 from the bronx. At the time she was pregnant with 2pac and a paralegal. Pretty much people
who do all the lawyers work but not the lawyer money. She represented herself and the work
she did led to the aquittal of all charges. She was about that work in which I am happy
that the second verse touched
on her time as a black panther.
