Hiiiiii! This is Dixie of A Fool's Journey.
Josi from Shock Therapy.
Hey, look at my magic.
The question from the listener is, why didn't you cover the bubble technique?
More than one person asked me about that. And
they expect it to be the only thing with spiritual protection they need. Which is
so not...it.
It's kind of like...I consider it like, training wheeels on spiritual protection. Okay?
It's a low-level thing.
So it will help with ambient, um, energetic noise.
Like, it will help when, you know,
random emotional crap from other people,
kind of low level astral gunk, that kind of thing, the bubble technique is great for.
But if you don't practice it regularly
to where you can just go whoop, and have it,
when you need it, or if you expect it to be the be-all and end-all
of everything, it just doesn't do that much good.
That is pretty much my opinion as far as the bubble goes.
I think it's a great technique as far as reinforcing your boundaries
And something that you can do when you are not necessarily working directly in divination or
Or spiritual contact. It's something I see as an everyday type of defense.
It's not something that I would use by itself. Again, it is very basic.
And it is something that requires constant energy from you to maintain.
It is effective, but I don't think it's effective all by itself.
But if you are working directly in the spirit realm, directly in divination, you need more. You need more than that.
I think that is an absolutely awesome point. Um. Because basically,
when you start trying to connect to spirit actively, when you are reading Tarot cards, doing Runes, doing whatever your deal is,
getting further and further into this whole Woo-Woo World...
It's sort of like, you're a light.
Your energy is a tasty meal to any random spirit-whatever that's kinda going by
and it attracts attention, to any kind of spirits, energies, anything that notices this.
So you're basically moving out of the kiddie pool into the big pool. But I guess
since we brought up the bubble technique, it would probably be a good idea to talk about what it is.
But for me, kind of an intregal part of doing the bubble technique is
doing a basic ground and center. And then from that point, I will
okay, I've got, I'm grounded.
I've dumped all the stuff I don't need.
I will take some of this stuff coming up. And it's from that that I start imagining
forming my sheild. Which I will usually do about arm's length around me.
And intention is really important in any of this kind of thing.
When I make a sheild, my intention is that
nothing harmful, to me, can get through.
I don't want it to block out everything, 'cause , you know, I'm interacting, I'm doing stuff
I want to be aware of what's around me, but nothing harmful can get through.
I try to power it from the Earth.
From that connection that I already made when I grounded so that it's not depleting my personal energy source.
More of a projection.
And I go from the Heart Chakra.
And push out.
As far as that's concerned. And it is something that
has to occur from a grounded, centered state. I really like your visualization of the tree roots and
and the grounding. It does help. And it does make you
sort of like that continuous channel.
I do like the, using your heart chakra, to create your sheild. I think that's a really nice touch.
And it occurs to me when you say that, um, possibly, depending on what you're wanting to sheild for,
that you could utilize some other chakras. Like if
you felt your personal space being impinged upon, and you felt like you needed to project your will
that you could probably use your solar plexus, your third chakra.
And make the sheild yellow.
Maybe if you felt like somebody was trying to unduly influence your thoughts, you could use your 3rd eye chakra.
Or if somebody was trying to squelch your speech, you could try your throat chakra.
That has all kinds of possibilities. I like that. Like I said, I don't, I don't rely on 'em a whole lot.
Because they're really kind of a basic, start technique.
Not a, you know, this is the be-all and end-all. And unfortunately,
that's the only thing that you see, so much of the time. It's
like, Oh, create a bubble, create a bubble! You know. And somebody
says they have these huge spiritual protection needs, and they're like, well, are you creating a bubble?
Bubbles don't fix everything.
Bubbles are like you're everyday coat.
You know? You put it on when you go outside.
You should have your jacket or whatever.
But if the temperature is sub-zero, if the temperature is like it has been,
that little windbreaker ain't gonna cut it.
It is something that I use...I tend to use it more in everyday situations.
With what you said as far as an everyday technique, the coat analagy and all of that...
It is something that is helpful. It is something that should be regular and should be maintained.
It is also something that should bue used in conjunction with other methods. [Music]
