Hello I'm Rosemary Loftis coordinator of displacement services, and welcome back to quick step videos.
So today we are going to look at your letter of accommodation.
In the winter quarter we have made some changes and updates to make it easy for you for your letter of accommodation.
Three changes the your first change.
Is going to be around. Your testing accommodation.
Those that do have testing accommodations
Your new letter of accommodation is now going to read.
If you'll be testing in the DSS private room
That uses the purple exam accommodation form.
Or the compass room.
Which will be using the gold accommodation form?
The second change to your DSS accommodation
is your class type
This is going to let us know, if you accommodations are for a face to face on campus class.
a hybrid class or an on-line class
Last but not least the third change is that on the bottom of your letter of accommodations
will now have your signature as well as the coordinator signature.
And it will also say if it is a student copy or an instructor copy.
there will be no more different color copies of letters of accommodations
They will all be white copies.
and instead of having your instructor signing each letter of accommodation
you will now have one signature sheet.
you will take this signature sheet
to each of your facility after discussing your accommodations
and your faciltiy will write there name.
and sign their names and date that you have discussed the accome accommodations
Quick tip
You should share your letter of accommodations with your facility during office hours.
Often times it's hard for facility the first week when you just hand them your letter of accommodations.
it's a great idea to make some time and some appointment time or again use their office hours
So they have the time to go over your accommodations with you. and ask you any questions if there is any.
