Welcome back to Part 2 of the cut out journal pages
This is the pages I cut off, and stuck back. See Part 1 on how to do this.
Here I am applying acrylic paints with a palet knife using the colours lime green and yellow. I will add a metalic purple later.
These pages have already been preped with gesso
Making a background of scratch paper using gelatos and water
I will draw a dragonfly on this paper and cut it out
Heidi Swab lime green shimmer spray, so beautiful in real life
After I cut i out, Im adding some distress inks to the wings and body in seadless preserves
More Heidi swab spray, just love it.
Using a faber castel stencil and some left over green paint, I am stenciling onto the background
Using green spray form Tim holtz.
Cleaning the stencil off on a future page
Using black acrylic paint and a sponge, I am going over the border, to keep to the theme of the previous page done in part 1
Creating some interest in the bacground using black paint and an old credit card.
Outlining the border and using the stencil made in part 1 to carry on with the theme.
Just stuck my arm into the black paint to the left! ARG!!!

Ruler didn't work, so I just winged it!
Matt medium over the words to seal it down.I don't trust that glue at the back.
Playing around with the marker and scratching around the words.
