Hi, I'm Kimberly Kimble, celebrity hairstylist for Pantene.
OK, so we're going to switch her hair from a day look
to a quick evening look with the Curl Upsweep.
All right, make sure you leave enough hair out in the front to cascade down.
And we're going to bring the hair as close to the front as we can.
And you can really get away with this with curly hair.
Just put a pony tail hold on it, let the hair fall forward,
a few hair pins, just so you can kind of blend it in with her hair.
Bring it forward as you're pinning it.
Any lose hairs you have.
I think the tighter the sides the better it's going to look.
But you don't want it to look like it's in a ponytail.
You just want the hair to kind of look like it's
kind of staying up there on its own.
We're going to put this last little pin to give it a little attitude
right there.
Yeah.
Like that.
That looks great.
That was fast.
Want that hair?
I do.
You like it?
I love it.
OK, now with this remix we're going to do the Pompadour.
So first I'm going to start with the large bobby pins,
pinning the hair up to secure it, forward with a little twist.
At the base, again, pin going out and in to secure it.
I'm going to pin on both sides that way.
So I'm going to use the argon oil to kind of smooth the hair
and stretch it out.
OK, and I'm going to take my hands, and roll the hair.
And what I'm going to do is make it tighter.
And as I get towards the front, make it bigger,
so that you have a nice volume in the very top.
Again, you're going to secure it with large bobby pins.
You may need some small bobby pins as well.
And you're just going to take your hands and roll the hair.
This look is going to be so easy for you to do because all you need
is bobby pins and your fingers.
You take your fingers, and you're going to shape the hair with that.
No extra things needed.
And as you're pinning you're shaping the hair, how you want it to go.
So you're going to bring that down.
So I'm going to loosen this out a little bit.
And you're going to use your fingers.
It's nice if it drops a little bit too in the front.
I'm going to pin this hair together.
I'm also going to take some small bobby pins
and tighten up any loose hairs that you see.
It should be very clean around the sides.
It can be a little messier in the front, but very clean and tight
around the sides.
Finishing it off with one pin.
And, of course, you can take a little bit of the custard.
You want to kind of smooth it a little bit so it's not so rough.
Use a little bit of the custard.
Take a little brush or a rat-tail comb, and comb the hair
in so you can make you get all the product into the hair.
Then you want to finish the hair off with the care gloss shine.
You want your hair to smell good.
That is very cute.
I definitely want this hair.
I think I want them all.
I think I'm a little hair greedy.
All right, another remix is about to begin.
This is called the Tuck n'roll.
Watch.
Side part.
You're going to start with the right side.
You're going to start tucking and rolling.
Now, when you get halfway, almost to the bottom,
you're going to start securing it with pins.
Go out.
Push in.
And you're going to go to the other side.
You gotta tuck and roll, tuck and roll.
OK, when you get almost to the bottom you're going to secure it,
and then you're going to take the whole piece, leaving a little bit of volume
so you can give your hair a little shape.
Then you're going to roll it all together.
You're going to take your bobby pins and secure.
Then you're going in and kind of clean it up with your pins in places.
So you want to make sure that you leave it loose on top
so you can give it some shape.
Now, you have a very quick, easy look.
OK.
Nice.
You like it?
Wonderful.
Give me five.
