Hello everyone, this is Rengor here
This is going to be my first LP ever
So, on with the show!
In the meantime, I'll explain exactly what am I playing
As you saw from the title, the name is The Last Promise.
It is a hack of FE7, made by Blazer.
It contains completely new characters, altered mechanics, new classes and plot.
In my opinion, it's better than the original
There will be times where I won't say (type) anything.
Sadly, I am not an entertaining person, which is half of the reason I'm not using my mic.
The other half is because I only have the mic that's built in my laptop.
By the way, even though the plot is new, one can draw parrarels to the original FE7.
For example, Solum is totally not Elibe
The Blaine nation is Bern. By the way, from now on, when i say Blaine, I mean the country, not the continent.
Enter Etruria, which like in FE6, is a military country.
Valencia = Lycia. Did I mention completely new plot? :)
However, Blazer has put in sidequests.
These are objectives you need to follow spreaded through the game.
For each sidequest, you need to perform tasks in several chapters.
And what do you know, there is already a sidequest requirement here, in the prologue.
Oh, hello there music change.
The music in this hack is amaizing, even though i don't belive it's original.
It's usually remixes, which are cool.
Take this theme as an example
Lord Hector of Ostia... oh sorry, wrong game
And he's tough. Belive me
Why is it that when someone starts a war, they always say "we restore peace". Logic?
"I can't tell you, because behind that fourth wall are players. They must not know my schemes yet."
Why hello there playable characters
Fun fact - Shon does more damage to the boss then Siegfried (father).
That's a lie. You don't want Siegfried to fight at all
Remember when I mentioned sidequests? This is the first one.
Basically, Shon has to kill everything and Siegfried can't engage in combat, not even as a meat shield.
If anyone would like to play this game, I recommend you do this sidequest. Of course, this is just a first part of it.
Ok, so this hack plays like a normal GBA Fire Emblem game.
Meaining that you fight, level up, get weapons, etc.
Speaking of weapons...
Link got a Deku Sword and a healing potion! :)
Also, vulneraries got buffed, now they have 5 uses instead of 3.
Piercing Sword = Rapier. Yay
So for fighting, you want Shon to always be in trees. It will help him a lot.
So Shon is a kind of character who is at first weak, but later on gets really strong.
However, he does not have amaizing growths.
Siegfried, on the other hand, is a combination of a lord and a Jaegan.
He doesn't get a lot of exp, but when he levels up, don't be suprised if at least 5 of his stats go up.
Oh, and he has over 100% HP growth rate, so he will always get +1 and sometimes even +2.
In the next part I'll turn off animations, but for now they're on.
The enemies here are weak. They shouldn't be a problem to deal with.
Also, Generic Spears for generic soldiers :)
Will do.
It's a good thing we have that extra iron sword. This one is going to break in about 2 chapters.
I apologise if you can't read these captions because of battle screen. It will be off from the next part on.
Here i show everyone's stats and descriptions.
I'll let him attack first and then I'll finish him off. Perfect strategy, right?
Shon hang out by the skin of his teeth! :)
And now to end this.
Except for the fact that RNG hates me.
Death in a prologue. This LP is going to be fun...
Back. Now with 100% less fail.
Meow
VENGEANCE!!
At least i get a good level up.
So that's it for the prologue. Or is it?
A good sparring partner eh?
What's this? A part 2 of prologue?
Yep, you get this if Sieg doesn't engage in battle.
So yeah, you have to fight.
Corben is a tough opponent.
Unless you get this.
Corben, it's your turn to be RNG screwed
So, that does it for today's video.
See you in the next episode of Let's Play The Last Promise.
