When you are breathing fire, you want to make sure that the setting is completely safe.
It is possibly one of the most important things when preparing to breathe fire. You want to
make sure that there is no brush or trees or anything that could possibly ignite within
about 10 feet of each side of you and especially in front of you. Outside, no trees, no brush,
no walls that could possibly get scorched either. In front of a pool is obviously a
perfect location because if anything goes wrong, there is a body watter in front of
you. Inside can be a little dangerous although I have seen people perform even behind a bar
and behind a restaurant although, I think that is a little dangerous; I'm not sure.
But when you are outdoors you want to make sure there is not too much wind. Today luckily
is no wind. You want to test it out to make sure that it is safe. You can use the age
old method of licking your finger to feel which way the direction the wind is blowing
or you can use a lighter and go ahead and light your torch. You want to make sure that
the wind is not blowing really in in direction at all. If it is whipping around too much,
that is dangerous. If it is also blowing in one direction, that is also dangerous. Because
a lot of times the wind can reverse directions on you really quickly so it is unsafe to blow
the fire even in the direction that the wind is blowing because it could easily reverse
and blow right back on you. So no wind is a perfect setting but a slight breeze that
is predictable is okay as well. Indoors you are totally good.
