in the short video we'll see how we can place a lesson stored in the softchalk
cloud into blackboard learn
first we've already logged into the cloud will go to the my content area
select lessons in courses
and then we'll choose the lesson that we would like to place
into blackboard i'll select the lesson
then scroll down
and choose
the LTI hyperlink the LTI hyperlink allows us to talk with
the blackboard grade book and it will put the students score for the lesson
into the blackboard grade book so we select that link and right mouse click
and copy
then we move into blackboard learn now i'm ready to log in but i want you to
notice that version of blackboard learn that i'm currently using
i then log in
i then choose the location for this particular lesson i'll put it inside of
general studies
and i'm going to put it in the content folder we then make sure that the edit
mode is turned on
we select build content and then choose weblink
we then give name for our lesson
and then we're ready to pastee that URL that we previously copied
we also want to indicate that this link is from a tool provider once we do
that we can get to enable grading
we then can enter the number of points that is in this particular lesson
make it visible to our students
if we want to restrict the dates we can even put in a description for the lesson
decide whether we want this to open in a new window or replace our current window
track the number of use and allow it to be currently available
once we've made all of our choices we click on submit
and we have now placed this lesson into blackboard and included it in
blackboard grade book
if we now look at the grade center and we select the full grade center you'll
notice
that the lesson is there ready for students to take
and their scores would then go into the blackboard grade book
