In this video I'm going to give you an overview of the Script To Audio feature within One
Hour Video Studio, which will help you write and develop scripts for your videos
The first thing you'll notice is this is a text editor just like notepad or word, but
with a few added features to help you write your scripts
Now, whilst you could use Word or Notepad to write a script, there's a few tasks you
need to complete with this tool to use One Hour Video Studio
You can create, open and save normal text files with this tool
As you type, you'll see an ESTIMATE of the length your script will be once narrated.
You can write at your own pace, but at some point you'll need to introduce script markers
into your script
Script Markers are simply line of text in square brackets, and these indicate where
your final video will change to a new visual as your viewer progresses through the video
You can type notes in these script markers for what you intend to put on screen in the
video, or type text that will be directly added on screen - which I'll show you later
on.
I recommend you change the screen every 10-15 seconds, which is about every 30 words. You
can get an estimate of this by selecting a sentence or two, or by simply writing your
full script and using the marker wizard which will
automatically insert markers on a blank script with roughly even pacing.
If you right click on a marker, you'll see options to add an image from your local computer,
insert a map image from Google Maps, or insert a photo from Flickr.
I'll cover these features in detail in another video, and should you use any of these, the
images you choose will be automatically inserted into the relevant Powerpoint slide that's
created later on.
Once you're done with your script, it's time to record your audio narration, which we'll
cover in the next module
