Unfortunately in a world where civility is on the decline teenagers don't always see the benefit of using good manners and nobody is pointing it out to them good manners means complying with the rules of home school work and team being a well-mannered communicator treating family friends teachers bosses and coaches with respect being truthful and having integrity driving safely maintaining good hygiene and grooming setting boundaries and limits using technology wisely and safely being kind and warm even when feeling surly and rebellious using good table manners considering the future thoughtfully to teenagers good manners means hold on a sec I'm texting I'll get to it just bring me a sandwich in my room what's wrong with these jeans I don't wanna do it I don't wanna go oops I forgot you should see that picture I posted online I said please didn't I a recent Rasmussen survey found that 91 percent of us feel incivility is a serious problem and getting worse this same poll also revealed that 70 percent of us think people are less honest than they used to be I think the thing I miss most in our age is our manners it sounds so old fashioned in a way but even bad people had good manners in the old days and manners hold a community together and manners hold a family together in a way they hold the world together Nancy Friday without etiquette society at its best is annoying and at its worst is toxic and dangerous etiquette protects people from being sickened by others rude table manners jostled by an impatient grocery store patron disparaged online by a troublemaker punched by an irate neighbor hit by a texting driver a run off the highway by somebody suffering road rage our teenagers deserve to live in a society that is well mannered and peaceful and allows them to seek happiness success and harmony if so few adults are using good manners who is then responsible for teaching our teenagers the etiquette demanded to uphold a great society the answer is you as a certified etiquette trainer for teenagers you will have the knowledge to instruct and enlighten you will teach teens the fundamental manners necessary for them to fully unlock their true potential and thrive etiquette moms provide you with the tools needed to start your own business reach your target market and present fun engaging and interactive classes using our knowledge based curriculum you will know what to say went to listen and when to insert an exercise or activity to a room full your students teaching teenagers etiquette is a noble calling what better contribution can you make yourself and to society than helping our youth be the best they can be you can do it you have the power to affect change I believe that individuals can make a difference in society it is up to each of us to make the best use of our time to help create a happier world the Dalai Lama register today at etiquette moms dot com and make the difference you were meant to make
