Hi, were here in a wood, and firstly, thanks for watching our photography tutorial.
We're going to show you how to create an infinite zoom, well infinite, it depends on how many pictures you captue ofcourse.
Infinite zoom is that you create a few photo's while coming closer to your subject, with the same thing in the center.
infinite zoom is that you create a few photo's while coming closer to your subject, with the same thing in the center.
After that you make everything nicely fade inbetween
It will look like you can zoom in to a picture without loosing resolution
We have concrete blocks over here, so we can easily measure the distance between every photo. It should be constant.
We assume you have a DSLR (or another camera with manual mode) and a tripod.
Uhm.. we're working with the nice concrete lines, every 5 concrete blocks we'll capture a new photo.
I also have brought a remote, so the camera won't move when controlling the shutter
Alright, we're making an infinite zoom, that means the center you have in your frame must be in the next picture.
It's also important to shoot on manual (M on your mode dial) mode
This is important because otherwise you will get different exposure's, iso, and all that stuff every frame.
So make sure you have good settings with your first photo.
COME, LETS GET STARTED
You check your lcd screen and align the center grid with the center of the subject your going to so everything is nicely aligned.
[this stuff is not important]
Okay, after a long day of shooting, we're headed to the pc, and Caspar will tell you how everything in after fx is done
Okay well in after effects you import all of your footage and drag it into a new composition
Firstly, set the still duration to 1 frame, and make sure "sequence layers" is checked.
So everything is nicely aligned like you see here.
Then you go to layer->new->adjustment layer (Ctrl+Alt+Y)
Add the effect "radial blur" and set the type to zoom, and the amount to where not everything is completely blurred.
Then you get the eclipse tool and you draw a nice shape in the center, the part that will not get blurred in the final result
Make sure you check the inverted box, then edit the expansion and feather until it looks nice, here everything is kinda high, because this this comp is 4K
When you're done you can render it
