Greetings, folks... Trooper Tru here.
As you can probably tell from the title of this video, I have three subjects that I need
to cover.
So... let's just get started, shall we?
This past Monday (the 10th of March 2014) on RAW,
Daniel Bryan (real name Bryan Danielson) made his voice heard...
in more ways than one!
He went and made his demands (or should I say "profound requests") well-known.
And of course, he had some help from the WWE Universe... but not even I expected this!
About 100 audience members came and joined D.Bryan --
in the ring, outside the ring, even close to the announce table!
They all joined D.Bryan in a protest movement known as
"#OccupyRAW"!
This is shades of "Occupy Wall Street" which happened on the 17th of September 2011
(my 11th wedding anniversary, by the way).
This protest was [undoubtedly] orchestrated by D.Bryan himself.
The purpose of this protest was to witness HHH (the so-called Chief Operating Officer)
give in to Daniel Bryan's profound request...
that request being a match between Daniel Bryan and HHH.
And to make matters more interesting, D.Bryan made another profound request:
If D.Bryan wins that match,
he would then be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.
Well, Daniel, this Trooper wishes you the best of luck,
because you've really got your work cut out for you.
This past Sunday (the 9th of March 2014) was filled with good news and bad news.
The bad news, of course, is that Magnus is still the World Champion.
We thought for sure that Samoa Joe would win it again with the rear naked choke-hold...
until the Monster Abyss emerged from under the ring -- and knocked out Joe with a spiked
club -- thus allowing Magnus to score a submission victory with Joe's signature maneuver!
Now on to the good news (or should I say 2 bits of good news).
First, Ethan Carter III -- AKA EC3
(or C3PO as MVP calls him)
may have put Kurt Angle on the shelf,
but he clearly did not count on getting his *** handed to him by the returning Bobby Lashley!
And hey -- Ethan was not the only losing member of the Carter family...
his rich *** of an aunt Dixie lost total control of TNA Wrestling operations!
Here's how it all went down: It all started on the 30th of January,
when Montel Vontavious Porter (real name Hassan Hamin Assad)
showed up on TNA and identified himself as the new "Investor" of TNA.
In the following weeks, MVP took any and all steps to slowly-but-surely acquire complete
control of TNA Wrestling operations.
Then it all came to a head on the "Lockdown" pay-per-view event.
It was a 4-on-4 elimination tag team match;
in one corner stood Team MVP -- with the main man as its team captain,
the Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards),
and the Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy...
and in the other corner stood Team Dixie -- with Bobby Roode as the team captain,
Austin Aries, and the BroMans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz).
There was one move that Dixie made that eventually backfired:
she appointed Bully Ray as Guest Referee.
Just before he could finish off MVP with the Roode Bomb,
Bully Ray got in his face and slammed Roode with the Bully Bomb!
This allowed MVP to cover Roode for the 1-2-3...
thus sending Dixie home packing.
Although I am unhappy with that paper champion still in possession of the World Title,
I can still say this: Tough break, Carter family.
On Sunday the 9th of March 2014, I watched my very first Shirley Temple movie: "Heidi".
In the beginning, Heidi (played by Shirley Temple) was taken to live with her Grandfather
by her self-serving Aunt Detie (played by Mady Christians).
Her Grandfather Adolph Kramer (played by Jean Hersholt)
appears a bit grumpy at first... but after a while, he gets used to her and learns the
value of company.
Shortly after Heidi and her Grandfather get along,
Detie comes along and takes her away to Frankfurt...
without her Grandfather knowing.
During Heidi's [rather forced] trip to Frankfurt (and during her [rather forced] stay),
she and her Grandfather missed each other's company.
The Grandfather even went so far as to travel all the way to Frankfurt -- by himself, on
foot... and would not rest until he found her.
Yet Heidi's so-called "caretakers" would do anything and everything to keep Heidi separated
from her Grandfather.
Although she brought humor and happiness to all who lived in that house
(except the ultra-conservative prude Fraulein Rottenmeier),
Heidi ultimately longed to be home with her Grandfather.
Eventually Heidi reunited with her Grandfather Adolph
(although the police saw Adolph at first as a common crazy thief).
However, after seeing how unhappy she was in the rather glitzy house
(and ultimately how happy she was to be with her Grandfather),
the police had no choice but to listen to Heidi's story
and release Adolph.
The last scene brought happy tears to my eyes.
Heidi was indeed back home with her Grandfather.
Their dinner guests were the residents of the rather glitzy home in Frankfurt
(except the now-jailed Fraulein Rottenmeier).
One man started a prayer before the feast,
then Heidi finished the prayer with "may every boy and every girl be as happy as I am. Amen."
There you have it: my personal report of the 1937 "Heidi" movie starring the legendary
entertainer Shirley Temple.
Shirley, this is for you.
May God watch over you, and may your legacy live on forever. Cheers.
That's it for now; I'mma get off of here and iron a suit; I have an interview with the
hiring manager at Mariano's tomorrow morning.
See you next time, and God Bless. Goodbye for now.
