DENIS DOWNING: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Denis Downing at Roxy Studios, New
York City and today, I'm going to show you how to set up some band equipment. Okay. So,
now, we're going to tighten these back down and just make them hand tight, okay? And once
again, you go side to side, small turns. Try to keep them even. It'll put you kinda where
you want to be when the final tuning comes. Okay. And the reason why we do this is to
not to bend the hoop, okay? You bend the hoop, you're going to have problems down the road
keeping the head in there. You get an egg shape to it, okay? And when it comes to tuning,
basically, you keep the bottom of the drum in tune and you tune the top part. Tuning
it, it's the easiest way I found. If there's a little [INAUDIBLE] to the drum, which there
isn't, you're good to go.
