Hello! Welcome back! In this video I'll show you how to create a Black Forest Cake miniature, using polymer clay (fimo).
I added other things to decorate this creation, like cake slice on dish, cup of coffee/tea and a fork.
I'll show you the sponge cake effect and the icing, with another type of cream, that you can see in the video.
If you like the work, let me know with a comment! In the info box, you'll find the products list and the useful links. I hope you enjoy the video! Enjoy!
Take a white polymer clay and model it with hands. Make the dough in a thin sheet with machine or roller.
Take a brown polymer clay and model it with hands. Make the dough a thin sheet, but thicker than the thickness of the sheet of white clay.
With a cutter like this, make three "rounds" of brown clay.
With the same cutter, make two "rounds" of white clay.
Combine all the layers of clay in this way: brown, white, brown, white and brown clay.
Flatten the clay with hands and roller.
Use again the cutter in this way.
Cut a slice of cake.
Make the texure only in the layers of brown clay with a pin or needle tool.
Then bake it.
For the cream, use this paste or the liquid polymer clay ( or TLS) and acrylic paint.
Before the paste dries, put these little brown grains on the slice and on the remaining cake.
Take a red polymer clay and model it with hands.
Make the dough a "little snake".
With a cutter, cut a small pieces.
Make each piece a small ball.
With a pin or needle tool, create a hole in each piece, like a realistic cherry.
Create small tufts of cream, with a pastry bag.
On each small tufts, apply the small red balls with tweezers.
Decorate the cake with decorations of our choice.
Thanks for watching! I hope you liked this work. Stay tuned for the next tutorial. Bye by
