Stitch number 10 is Double Overlock. This will stitch and neaten the edge all in one
smooth operation. We're just going to actually just sew a little ribbing onto this little
opening I've cut for a neckline, just running the raw edges of the knit along the raw edge
of the ribbing next to the cut and up on the inside toe of the foot number one and then
it's just going to catch all that as we go. I can also adjust the pressure of this foot
so it's not pressing down as firm against the knit. That's going to be with the dial
kind of up here on this side of your machine. We've got it down as low as 25, almost half
the amount that it normally is at. Makes it so the kind of glides across this instead
of pushes and stretches the fabric. But this is nice because you get an overcast and a
seam all at once. Let's take a look. It's all done and like you said, it neatens up
that edge, has a beautiful finish and stretches all at once.
