I show you a small bonsai from polymer clay. For the bonsai you need a lot of tools, chalk and a cookie cutter.
I use Fimo Classic chocolate brown, green and magenta. Plus Fimo Effect Transparent white and marble. For the glue I use Fimo Liquid.
First the polymer clay chocolate and marble is rolled out. The chocolate brown on Level 1 and the marble at level 5. The two colors are the shell for the bonsai.
The two colors I cut to 2 x 3 inches. The edges are 4 inches long and 0.5 inches wide. This will be my shell now.
The shell is ready now. To model the tree from chocolate brown, simply turn the clay. Beautify the transitions with a modeling tool. For the earth I hit points in the brown.
With green and brown chalk I beautify the floor. With a brush just dab over the earth.
For the branches I take a sausage Fimo chocolate brown. I'm stuck the branches with an Dottingtool to the bonsai tree. The tree comes in the oven now.
The leaves and flowers are mixed from green, magenta and transparent white. The green is rolled out at level 9 with the Clay Machine.
With the cookie cutter you generate leaves from the green. With a Dottingtool you make little beautiful magenta flowers.
As an adhesive for the leaves and flowers I use Fimo Liquid. Fimo Liquid is invisible after baking and sticks great. With an Dottingtool spear a leaf, dip it in glue and stick to the bonsai. The bonsai is comes once again in the oven and then glazed.
