My name is Josh Cassell. I am a Senior in Audio Production and my hometown is here in St. Louis.
What drew me to Webster originally was their Audio Production program.
I heard that they had small class sizes and they were one of the cooler schools in St. Louis.
A lot of what I've gained from Webster has helped as far as the fundamentals - really understanding how each piece of equipment works.
And operating a patch bay and working consoles and things like that.
My professors here at Webster are pretty awesome.
They have all worked in their fields professionally and so, from that first hand experience, learning from somebody who has that is pretty great.
They want you to succeed so they don't look down on you.
I love the campus at Webster. It's kind of old-world feel at times but then there's really modern parts of the campus.
Being a student in St. Louis is pretty great. I can always find a show to go to or a new restaurant to try or just hang out with my friends, which I have a lot of now that I've been at Webster.
It's a great school. Great community of students as well as teachers
and it's just fun to be here. I mean, I wouldn't be here if it were any different.
