I feel that it's important to get involved on campus because
it truly transforms your college life experience.
It not only opens doors to opportunities academically
and gets you with networking but it helps you find out who you are
and who you want to be in the future.
I'm Sam Jones. I am a junior from Hillsboro Missouri
and I'm a secondary ed social studies major with a double major in history.
One of the best things about Webster is the connections the students can make with their teachers.
You can email your teacher at any time of the day
and they'll get back to you.
I've had more classes than I count here
and I can't say that I've ever had a teacher that didn't care or wasn't there to help me.
Every single one was invested in my learning
and they really took an active part in making sure that I had success.
Hey I'm Meredith Mclaughlin and I am a sophomore

My absolute favorite thing about Webster is the fact that it just offers
such a great place to be creative and to express yourself in
in whatever aspect you are wanting to
and I just love that you can be whoever you want to be here
and there's definitely opportunities for everyone no matter who you are.

it's definitely made me a better global citizen because of the study abroad options.
I went to Vienna and Leiden about two years ago
and it was the best time I've ever had in my life.

Webster's atmosphere, it's the perfect size.
It's not to small not to big.
I like to tell people when I walk around I can meet a new person every day but I can also say hi to five or six people that I see.

My advice to new students would be to just be yourself
because whatever nitch or group that you think you fit in to,
if your just able to be yourself your going to be able to fit in.

For new students I would just say say hello to everybody.
Just leave yourself open to make friends
pretty much with everybody you meet because you never know who your going to find.

Webster is a very comfortable community of people where you can feel safe
and where it's easy to get involved and feel really included in the community.
