Hey guys! My name is J. and I am talking on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we
are going to show you how to make caramel apples as opposed to the candy apples. Instead
of making my own caramel, I am going to be using a bag of caramel cubes as you can see.
This is just a real easy way to do with your kid. You just unwrap them and instead them
inside the double boiler and they melt perfectly fine. Also 2 tablespoons of water and as you
can see in here, I have them already measured out, 2 tablespoons of water. You can also
substitute that with milk if you like and it will come out just as great. Also we are
going to need apples and we've got ourselves some nice green apples here. If you want to
make your caramel guys, you can make your own caramel like I made my own syrup for the
candy apples. One thing I recommend using the thermometer right when the temperature
is about to hit about 275 degrees, you want to take it off the stove then. I didn't tell
you guys then in the last clips. The reason why you do that is you don't want the syrup
to burn. If it goes 320 degrees or sometimes the temperature just shoots up, if it goes
past 350 degrees, it might have the possibility of burning and it is going to taste real bitter
and burnt. So guys that's about it for the ingredients on the caramel apples.
