Think About It is the first single from the album,
it’s a really fun track,
I love this one because lyrically I think it’s really quite cheeky for me.
I think I do quite a lot of soul searching and I can be quite dramatic and ‘woe is me’ at times
but Think About It is quite quirky and fun and cheeky.
It kind of speaks for itself, it’s really about doing something you want to do,
but you shouldn’t really be doing it and not worrying about the consequences
it’s a song about being spontaneous.
I was over in Copenhagen I was working with Cutfather and his team.
I went over with Adam Argyle who is a really good friend of mine and a great collaborator,
we’ve worked together many times. The first time we worked together was on Next Best Superstar.
He wrote that song and from the minute I started working with him I fell in love with him
He’s such a great guy, fantastic songwriter and we just connect when it comes to songwriting and lyrics
because we just want to express ourselves really similarly
I think a lot of that is because we’ve had a similar upbringing.
We’re both form the North of England, similar things have happened as we were growing up
and I think that’s made us quite similar. But I mean he’s an absolute genius,
maybe that’s where the similarities end…
But no, I love working with him, we had a fantastic time in Copenhagen
and Think About It was one of 2 brilliant tracks we did over there.
I’m very excited it’s the first single, I think it has a real radio friendly sound
and people seem to be enjoying it, the video’s great,
I’m really happy with the video, so I think this is a good introduction to the album.
