The sector which we present today is the Mobile Communication sector.
It is a sector that in few years has turned as the most important sector;
it means that it is the most important sector from the economic standpoint,
the sector that moves more money inside the Telecommunication sector and ICT sector in general.
Therefore, it is a dynamic sector, a sector which we are all users;
but we are not going to present just the Mobile Communication sector,
we will also present Internet-Broadband, Fixed Telephony and Audiovisual sector.
Thus, you will have an overall view of what is happening in ICT world
from the point of view of the market.
Why is it important? It is important for different reasons.
First of all, because it is the sector in which the most part of you will work;
then , it is important to have information about this sector
because if you receive an offer in some of these subsectors,
you will know if it is a growing sector, or it is a decreasing one, what is it,
which are the biggest companies that dominate each subsector,
or, to know if the market is fragmented
and then you have a clearer idea of where are you entering.
If you have some offers in various sectors, then you could decide which one you like most,
from the point of view of growth, professional future, etc.
What we have represented up here is the ten-last-year evolution of the sector,
in this case the Telecommunication sector, including Audiovisuals.
We can’t strictly say the ICT sector, because
because the application development sector could be excluded for example, the most commercial sector.
Therefore, the Telecommunications plus the Audiovisual sector have this evolution,
there where we can see the blue color, it is known as retailer sector,
the sector that sells for the final user; and we have represented in green the wholesale sector
which is the commercial link that is established between companies.
You can see that the wholesale sector is smaller, the retailer sector is bigger,
but what is noticed is an important increase, we are about 25 thousand million
until arrive a maxim which is closer to 45 thousand million, and now we are in fall.
Crisis makes people buy fewer Telecommunications and consume less audiovisual products and,
therefore, there is a fall from the point of view of invoicing, these are the incomes.
If we look at the last year (2011), we will find that invoicing is around 38 thousand million.
