Aright, now we're going to do the letters b and d. We'll start with the b, it's a little
bit easier and unlike the p and the q, the b and the d do not look exactly the same,
only flip. So we'll start with the b. I'm going to start above the guideline just slightly,
and I'm going to make a stroke that at a glance almost looks like an l. So the first stroke
of the b and I'll just leave it there so you can see it, I make that curve. The second
stroke is to pull the ball around, like so. So I'm going to start here, one and two. The
letter b. Now for the letter d, we're going to bring the spine of the d from across. I'm
going to show it to you in stages. We had the first stroke which is very much like all
of the round letters that we've practised so far. So I'll leave that stroke to show
you. So it's just like this. Now the second stroke starts from almost directly above where
we started the letter and I'll take a pencil and I'll show you that, and comes across.
Now this goes against everything we've ever learned about how to construct a d, so be
prepared for some resistance in your, in your mind for what you're doing. So the b and the
d. Again, you start the d almost directly above the bottom stroke and pull it across.
