Hello. You probably hate this new Facebook timeline thing...
If you hate it as much as I do, you're looking for some way to make it cool and
at least give it some value. So if you take your screen capture tool
either the one that comes with Windows/Mac or you just find one somewhere else
and drag a spot from the corner down to about
where your friends are...
then match the bottom up with that line down there and take screen capture and save it
as a PNG file and you can call it "FB1"
and you're going to want to save these all in the same folder
then you can close that out
and
you'll want to go down to "Change Cover"
choose "Upload Photo" and then upload that
image that you just captured
and it'll take a minute to update
now you're gonna wanna drag the cover up and to the right to start to create a
tunneling (or feedback) effect
then you can click "Save Changes"
and then basically we're just gonna repeat that same process
several more times to get a really cool feedback effect... so I'm going to
open up my screen capture program again
and crop from the same spot I cropped last time, more or less
It doesn't have to be perfect, but
you'll want to get it pretty close. Then I'm going to save that as "FB2"
again, in the same folder, as a PNG file
close it out, change the cover again
and choose "Upload Photo" and
choose "FB2" as my photo and then, same as I did last time, I'm gonna drag it
up and to the right
to try to get it to kind of mirror the last one that I uploaded
and now we're going to open the screen capture program again
and from the same spot that we've been cropping, crop it a third time
and save it again as "FB3"
and close out the screen capture program. Then we're going to go to "Change Cover" and upload another photo
choose "FB3"
now and this might happen to you as it's happened to me a couple times, where it just
loads and doesn't do anything... and you could probably wait for a while and
it may not ever do anything, so the way to solve that is to just use your browser
go up to the top and reload the page
and the way you do that as you go up and you clicked some sort of "X"
or "Stop" button and then you click the "Reload" button, depending on what browser you have
and then just try that same step again and it should work
hopefully that time
and reposition the same way that you've been repositioning. click save changes
and you can keep doing this forever. you can keep "feeding back" to infinity
for this example's sake, I'm just going to do it can do it
a limited number of times. so I'm just going to do four total
and same as we've been doing, we "Change Cover" again
If that doesn't work, reload the page page
sometimes the "change cover" feature doesn't work for whatever reason
and we'll upload "FB4"
and "Save Changes"
after we reposition the cover
and there you go... now you have a really trippy trippy
Facebook timeline
