(Astro) Hey Guys, this is Astroman and Bebop
representing Resolution,
on behalf of Cron
who couldn't make it today.
(Bebop) Yeah
(Astro) Yeah, this is our review of Captain America: Civil War.
0:09.5 0:10.1 (Bebop) Oh Yeah
(Astro) Yup; and man that movie was just...
Beautiful! (Bebop) It was dope dude!
Like...
First of all guys, like, I'm a huge Black Panther fan.
So, just... (Astro) He acts like he's the only one.
(Bebop) Nah dude look, we learned about that dude back in '05
I was like; "he needs his own movie."
went on Wikipedia back in the day
always on Wikipedia
Found out Wesley Snipes was supposed to do something with it.
It didn't come into fruition but, guys
(Astro) Suffice it to say, it was years in the making
(Bebop) Man he put hands...
(Astro) He put hands, feet, and claws..
(Bebop) I mean it wasn't to the point to where has OP,
But it was like he-(Astro) Well his debut
was Beautiful! (Bebop) His debut was great!
Like, he didn't feel weak
but he didn't feel overpowered
and he didn't feel out of place.
(Astro) And he was well introduced.
(Bebop) Yeah it wasn't just "let's throw him in so the *** who watch these movies
can feel good about themselves."
Nah, it was legit guys.
Like he...
God!..(Astro) *chuckles*
(Astro) I mean well, I mean him
and then also Spider-Man
(Bebop) Spider-Man was dope too
(Astro) Its like it was just great seeing him actually be a teenager and what-not
(Astro) Just...before we get into it, y'know, we're going to do our usual, "The Good, The
Bad, and The Ugly" split...
...and with this one y'know there is a lot of good, a lot to love
I mean y'know, where do we begin?
First off the story- (Bebop) the story was dope
(Astro) Yeah it was dope and it was actually pretty engaging (Bebop) Yeah
I mean the movie is called "Civil War" and it's based off of the "Civil War" comic
(Bebop) Like you guys might- well obviously you guys wouldn't know yet
but, we're pretty big comic dudes.
Cron too, and um back when we learned about it, initially like cuz we read through it
and we were kinda not feel in' it
Cuz its the subject matter y'know, good guys fighting each other - so on and so forth,
but-
From a movie perspective-
(Astro) Well I mean also the movie it's like they had to down-size the story because they
don't have all the rights to the characters
(Astro) Also like, y'know they had to switch quite a bit around so there was a concern
on quite a few areas like, "is this movie still gonna be good?" (Bebop) Yeah
and its like- (Bebop) is it even gonna still be worth making?
(Astro) Y'know, it was great in some of the best ways.
They actually kind of subverted being so ham-*** about the fact that it's Iron Man vs. Cap,
and they actually spent a lot of time with the characters.
(Bebop) When my boy T'Challa came through, he was just like *Shing*
That Bruce Lee pose, and then he just
came after everybody!
(Astro) He just wouldn't stop coming for, like, the whole movie.
He was always there; he was a menace.
(Bebop) Like there's a scene in the movie, guys
some spoilers, I guess..
But there's a scene in the movie
basically, when Black Panther is introduced
but the build up to it was great
because Cap is trying to stop Bucky from
making a huge mistake.
They fight their way through this dilapidated
apartment complex, which was fire by the way
and then that's when Black Panther comes through and it was dope man.
(Astro) And I mean that's really one of the biggest
from my perspective, one of the biggest
commendations for that movie comes in is like
the characters; each and every one of them was handled
very well, even if the character was only showing up for a little bit.
You felt like it was enough (Bebop)Yeah!
(Astro) You didn't feel like it was rushed
you didn't feel like "oh, well we're just doing this to appease anybody."
(Bebop) Like
it was handled with care guys.
