Hey guys how's it going? I'm Grace this is Game On and I've got the latest greatest gaming
news now I've got to start with this one the internet has gone mad that Facebook has announced
it's buying Oculus Rift. Now they're buying it for $2 billion which is made up of $400
million in cash and 23.1 million shares in Facebook stocks not only that but if they
meet the targets set by next year they could get another $300 million.
Zuckerberg spoke out about the virtual reality headset saying "we're going to focus on helping
Oculus build out their product and develop partnerships to support more games." And in
a turn of events, Minecraft creator Markus Persson has said he's refusing to put Minecraft
on the Oculus Rift now that Facebook has bought it. Who knows what this means for the technology?
I guess we'll have to wait and see. Up next Game Boy Advance games are coming to the Wii
U virtual console and we've got a list of the ones you can expect in April. Wii U UK
already announced Advance Wars as the first game to the console on April 3rd and now we
have the full line up on the GBA games coming to North America and Europe which I've stuck
in the description below but some big names as you can see in this trailer here include
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion and Golden Sun all priced at $8 with a few
of them coming in at 7. What do you think about the news? Let me know in the comments
below.
And finally, Wolfenstein: The New Order has bagged itself a new release date of May 20th
in Australia and Europe, three days earlier than it was supposed to come out before.
Bethesda announced on their blog that that means worldwide launch will be happening for
everyone at the same time. The game got itself a new trailer last week showing off some of
the gameplay which you can see here. So not much longer until the FPS game set in a world
taken over by Nazis will be coming out on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I've
had a go on the game so check out our exclusive preview over there. Thanks for watching Game
On News I'm here everyday from Monday to Friday. We've got a Child of Light preview coming
out next week so make sure you're subscribed and I'll see you next time.
