Before starting, some of my videos were hit
by the Content ID from certain websites.
It could be just a case of collateral damage, but...
just in case...
I'll be making some changes on the graphical representation
starting out in this video.
It looks like that some companies
do not like to see their material in other places
even if that means free advertising.
But well, let's get back to 2013
The year of the new generation of consoles.
What does the future reserves to the Xbone?
I don't know.
And this list doesn't talk about that.
Let's take a look at the worst games from 2013
that are somehow related to retrogamers.
Number 10
Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers
This is a game that's only worth playing if...
you are a true fan of the series
and still you will have to ignore some flaws.
The only good thing that I can talk about this game
is that the graphics are excellent.
Err... and I will stop it here before a crazy otaku
starts running towards me yelling "Meteor Shower"
Number 9, Flashback
Is it so hard to do a remake of Flashback?
After all, the original game is a masterpiece.
And maybe that's the reason that the critic
was so *** this game.
But they managed to make the game worse.
How?
Adding a skill system
changing the gameplay
and adding new story elements.
The game doesn't convinces as a remake
But still
If you are a fan of the original and have some spare change
It's not that bad, and it's worth a look.
Number 8, Wizardry Online.
Ok ok ok, it's not THAT bad.
To tell you the truth it would be a pretty good game
it it was released a few years ago
and if it didn't bear the name 'Wizardry'
The graphics aren't good
and there's not much relation to the Wizardry series.
Ok ok, they share some similarities.
But it doesn't feel like a Wizardry game.
But if you ignore some things...
it's still worth a try.
Number 7
And there will be people to disagree with me...
Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil? Old?
I'm sorry if you don't think so but...
the first game of the series was released in 1996
Yep, you're getting old.
But well, getting back to Resident Evil 6
This game broke sales records for Capcom
But, to tell the truth, it has nothing of
a survival horror game.
It looks more like an action flick
Capacom is probably trying to repeat Resident Evil 4
and failing on that.
Very well, starting now we are enetring a world of darkness and shadows.
I don't recommend you to approach the games starting at this point.
Number 6, Star Trek
Good Star Trek games are rare to find
And this isn't one of them.
The game is based on the movie
which is a reboot of the series.
And what kind of game is this?
A mix of Gears of War
with Uncharted
and maybe some others...
And let's say that this mix didn't work out well.
Number 5, The Bureau XCom Declassified
This is a franchise that got to be on the list of the best
and worst games at the same time.
And that's an achievement for sure.
The Bureau is a shooter that tries to introduce
tactical elements to the game
During it's development
a lot has been changed
which affected the final game
And what we have is a game with bugs
And... that...
wants to be X-Com but...
can't be good enough to...
have the honor of bearing the X-Com banner
Number 4, Sim City
SimCity is the reboot of the most famous Maxis franchise
However this new version can only be played
if you have a decent and stable internet connection
And also a lot of luck to be able to log on EA servers.
Which can have a waiting line of hours
to be able to join.
The save game is also online
and you have no control over it.
Adding to all that we also have a lot of bugs
And a maximum city size that it's not even 1/6
of the previous editions
Unfortunatelly, it's a game that I didn't want to see on this list.
Number 3
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2
it's better if I say "two".
But well, a lot of people have heard about
Fist of the North Star
a game based on the manga of same name.
What only a few people know is that the franchise
is in the West since the 90's
Black Belt of the Master System
And Last Battle of the Sega Genesis
Are games of the franchise that were modified
But well, Ken's Rage 2
is the most recent game of the franchise
And how bad is it?
Very bad.
And full of bugs
Get away from it
Don't even think about playing it.
Number 2
TMNT Out of the Shadows.
It's been a while since we last saw a good TMNT game
the last one that I like is Turtles in Time
and that was in 1992.
Out of the Shadows is the most recent game of the franchise
and I would say one of the worst.
With a bad gameplay and bugs, lots of bugs.
Number 1, Aliens, Colonial Marines.
Any doubt about this one?
A movie that marked generations from the 80's was Alien
Even though the sequels took a way down to below.
The games seems to have learned with the movies
Colonial Marines made a great expectation about it
and managed to destroy it with it's bugs
bad AI
and graphics that doesn't resemble the ones
showed in past versions.
What about you?
What do you think of this list?
Do you disagree with anything?
