Hi and welcome to another video!
The moment to put together the "Dark Knight Rises" Movie Masters Bat-signal has finally come!
I collected all the pieces, one for each action figure!
Including the instructions that come with Ra's Al Ghul.
Let's take a quick look!
All the pieces, all the components...and the assembly instructions. It seems very easy to put together.
Mattel suggest to put together the actual body of the Bat-signal, then the base and, finally, assemble the two blocks.
On the back, the instructions to play and all the informations for a correct use of the batteries, which are not included unfortunately!
Let's start off with the assembly!
I'll start with the base, the Catwoman piece...
...which must be connected with the Batman piece.
These spaces and this protuberance will guide you on how to do it...
Done! Very easy!
Then I'll take the Bane piece...
...which must be insert like this...pushing it gently.
Every time you add a piece, at every step, the success of the assembly is confirmed by a click, pretty bold.
The base is now completed!
Let's put together the Bat-signal body as well!
I'll take the Alfred piece and the one that came with John Blake, the frontal part, with the lense.
Like this...
Be careful because this part seems pretty delicate...I suggest to squeeze it a bit (while you're pushing).
Done! Click! Very nice!
And finally, the Ra's Al Ghul piece, with the electronics of the Bat-signal.
...which goes on the back.
It must be positioned like this, at 90 degrees, and then you must rotate it to lock it in place.
Perfect! Very solid! The pieces stay together nicely!
And now, maybe the most delicate step, the one where you must combine the two blocks!
First of all, one of the two holes is rounded...
...while the other one is squared. Same thing for the respective pegs obviously.
You can't go wrong on how to put them together!
In addition, the rounded peg is on a spring so it can be pushed inside.
This will make things easier.
Let's do it!
I will insert the squared one first...
Done! And now, the rounded one...done!
And here's the Bat-signal finally completed and assembled! Very nice! Let's take a look!
Very nice! Nicely proportioned! It's just a bit stretched in the way of its depth because of the electronics. Btw, overall it's nicely proportioned.
As we've seen in the single reviews, Mattel put these paint details to make the Bat-signal look weathered.
Base is very nice, nicely painted.
The Bat-symbol is very clean, no flaws.
Here we have this little box which is the switch of the Bat-signal in reality.
The actual switch is this one. You can see: 0-1.
I've already put the batteries in it so we can see the projection.
It can move up and down, with this range of motion, and fully rotate.
Let's see the projection! I'll put the switch on 1.
As you can see it's not working. It's because the Ra's Al Ghul piece must be positioned in the right way. It often goes out of position. Let's turn it a bit.
Voila!
Let's see if I can show you...yeah, despite the light, you can see the projection fairly well.
This little button allows you to interrupt the projection. If you push it...
If you want to interrupt it permanently, you just have to position the switch on 0.
I wanted to show you how it projects in the darkness. Look at how neat it is!
As you can see, moving the Bat-signal the projection has disappeared. It's because, like I said, the Ra's Al Ghul piece has gone out of position.
Sometimes it needs to be positioned again.
Btw, the projection is very very nice!
The Batsignal is obviously in perfect scale with the Movie Masters action figures, but it works perfectly with every figure in the 6" scale!
Before I conclude, I'd like to spend a few words on this line of figures, the Movie Masters from "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises".
As a Batman fan, I think it's a fantastic line! I've always wanted a line of action figures for collectors, with movie accurate figures, instead of those line of toys full of Batmans with weird costumes and equipments!
The only big issue is the lack of accessories. I mean, the accessories that can be used with the figures.
Because the crime scene evidences were already nice to have, the C&C Bat-signal is pure awesomeness!
Then it's very well done! It's a nice quality and valued piece!
If you're a Batman fan, I'm sure you will love it! As you will love every single figure in this line!
That being said, I'll see you on the next video! BYE!
