My name's Dana Dunn. I've been working in the piercing business going on 6 years now.
I do typically about 3,000 to 4,000 a year. I work at Pins and Needles Tattoo. We have
a website pinsandneedlesportland.com. Piercing is my life and I'm going to talk to you about
body piercing. A smiley piercing is an oral piercing, that is in the web on the top part
of the inside of your lip. Right here. Not everybody has the proper webbing to get the
smiley done. So again, just go in and ask, ask before you get it done. Make sure they
do know what they are doing. The healing on that is really, really easy. Your body actually
heals that up within a matter of weeks. And it doesn't even swell up all too much, just
mouth wash. It's called a smiley because when you smile, you can actually see the hoop pressing
right on your teeth. Honestly, it doesn't rub on your teeth all too much. You really
don't feel it. Then again, it's an easy process, the piercing itself is just a little difficult,
so again, make sure the piercer does know what he's doing. Make sure he has done a few
of them, to make sure you're comfortable, it's better for the both of you.
