John Coble, back in 1984
an old law school friend of mine
Al Munchler (sp?) brought him over to a
nonprofit I was running at the time, and said,
"I want you to meet this guy." And I have known him ever since.
He is going to be running for judge this year and I want you to
keep his name in front of you. Coble.

When this guy was in college at Miami University in Oxford he led
the fight to get the Board of Trustees
of Miami University to
stop investing in South African stocks
because of apartheid. That was before
it became hip to do that at the
ivy league schools and the other
state schools like Ohio State and Michigan. He was a
forerunner on that when it wasn't even popular to do it. He served a stint
as chairman or at least on the board. Was it chairman? (John nods affirmatively)
at the fair housing center, which is a tough job to do because you're going up against
powerful interests like banks and so forth. And finally,
he served as a leader on the S.E.T.
Self Expression Teenage Theatre group
that works with kids, mostly
from the African American Community. He has been an attorney
for many years. I am going to support him.
I am going to do what I can
to get him elected. And I hope you take a close look
at John Coble. C - O - B - L - E
