Hi my name is Eva and I am an academic coach for the Russell Conwell Center. Today I'm
going to be giving you a workshop on how to use Temple Universities Owl Card.
And Owl Card is the Temple University ID card. Students and staff carry around to prove that
they belong on campus. Students get their owl cards at the Diamond
Dollar/ID Card office which is located on Liacorus walk. The address is 1910 Liacorus
Walk and we're on the second floor. Students use their owl cards to use their
meal plans, get into buildings, print documents in any of the computer labs, enjoy the rec
center usage, take out library books, all of those items are done with one card at Temple
and that is the owl card. If it's lost or stolen, first thing a student
should do is go onto our website, 24/7 and deactivate their card. That way if someone
finds their card it can't be used for anything. Then they should come to our office at the
first available business hour and get their new card.
If it's lost or stolen its a $20 fee to replace the owl card.
If it's a damaged card for instance the magnetic strip might be stripped, or scratched or it
may be deformed in some way. Then the replacement is free.
Your owl card will be a vital tool during your Temple career so make sure to keep it
safe. Thank you for watching and good luck at Temple.
