Why do women wear heels if they hurt?
Heels make a woman walk differently. The heels force her to walk on her tip-toes.
Which is why they crowd her toes and hurt her feet.
The altered posture makes her butt stick out, while she arches her back, making her ***
stand out.
So heels make a woman look sexy, without additional surgery.
Well, she may end up needing surgery for lower back pain after a long time. And treatment
for corns and bunions long before then.
The high price of beauty, I suppose.
There are women who wear high heels because they feel it is the standard of beauty. At
which point, it is men's fault.
A woman can look beautiful in anything or nothing. I'm not making her wear heels.
Should I blame the women who write for fashion magazines? Or the gay guys who are usually
the editors?
You can blame the gay guys who dominate the fashion industry for the starved girls, who
look like prepubescent boys all over magazine covers. High heels are more women’s' fault.
I heard about how evolutionary theory drives fashion. That high heels alter how a woman
walks, making her hips swing more, so it makes her walk more feminine.
And if it makes her succeed at attracting more male attention, she has more options
when it comes to selecting a mate. Theoretically, the shoes improve her reproductive success.
Maybe, but evolutionary theory has been used to explain all sorts of things, even down
to saying autism is Neanderthal. What can a woman do instead of torturing her feet?
Wear red clothing or red lipstick. Wear tight clothes or revealing clothes.
Both of which are sexist.
You asked what is as attention getting as high heels. If you want to wear dull, drab
or boring, you can, just don't expect to attract the guys.
Are there any other options?
There are studies that show women wear high heels as part of their work wardrobe, because
they think it is a requirement. Wear flats to work and save the heels for nights out,
to reduce the wear and tear on your feet.
Amazing! A sensible solution to a woman's problem from a guy.
Or you could just continue complaining about it, if that helps you feel better. That's
often a woman's solution.
