Ok so we're going to do a strapping now for shin splints the generic term which
describes a lot of conditions for basically pain down the front of the
shin. Often is caused by any kind of tissues attaching to the
shin bone, so all we're going to do
is place
our zinc oxide tape at the start of the
bony ridge at the front, the tibia spine.
I'm going to come up
and I'm going to pull
that way in so we're pulling that inwards
and we're finishing
on the outside
like so.
So, we're now going to do another one,
from the tibial spine
here on the outside and what we basically doing is bringing the tissues
inwards
little bit of tension pulling across the front of the leg
and then finishing there.
If you've got
if the leg is hairy then you need to shave that area otherwise the tape's just going to
or you can use adhesive tape if you need to.
