So, clothing wise, one of the most important things in disc golf is obviously keep yourself
warm, keep yourself dry, and create enough traction for yourself. So, most of the time
you're getting to throw off of tee pads, which is great, but a lot of times you're having
to deal with mud so, a good hiker shoe, make sure that it's not too heavy. These are just
some old school Converses that I like to, but they give a lot of good traction underneath.
I don't like to be constricted with big heavy coats. I like to have the freedom of mobility
within my upper torso. You hardly see me wearing too much while I throw. I like to have the
freedom there. But there's other people out there that would like to wear jackets, and
that's fine. But, for me, I try to wear hoodies, sweatshirts, and just try to keep it loose.
A lot of people bring a pine tar resin, which actually creates a little stickiness on your
hands so that when you're playing in weather conditions, you can still get a nice little
grip on there. One of the tricks of the trade I've learned, is that when it's pouring outside
I'm still playing disc golf, so some garbage bags, plastic garbage bags over the socks
work really well. Especially when you're dealing with lots of weather in the winter time and
stuff like that. So, otherwise just keeping yourself warm and dry is the most important
thing.
