>> We are Logan and Haley Stout.
We came to Ignite with the hopes
of making an extra $1,000 a
month.
That was our original goal.
Ignite for us, what we saw,
that it was an opportunity to
leverage time, create some extra
income on the side while we can
do what we're passionate about,
what we feel we been called
to do.
My passion has always been
with kids.
I played minor league baseball
for a couple of years, and so
kind of what God's put on my
heart is to help kids through
the game of baseball.
We own a select baseball
organization called the Dallas
Patriots, and that's kind of the
mission of that.
We wanted the ability to allow
kids to play baseball without
money being a reason for them
not being able to play, and for
us to be able to scholarship
kids is an incredible blessing.
Previously, we had to try to
raise the money or we had to try
to find sponsorships so that
these kids could play, but now
it's not an issue.
Good, right there.
That's quick, that's good.
We're still full-time youth
ministers.
I was an associate scout for
a major league baseball team.
We are running our select
baseball organization.
>> I was working behind
the desk.
>> We were engaged.
We had an indoor baseball
facility we had just opened up
and now here comes something
else.
I said, man, I don't have time
and I don't know anything about
electricity.
You know, that's the deal.
I'm sitting here going, why
is he talking to me about an
electric company?
And Haley goes, "Honey, why
don't you just listen to him?
That way he'll leave us alone."
And so I said, "Presley,
I'll give you 30 minutes of my
time if you promise you'll never
mention this again."
He said, "All right, all right."
So he came over to the house.
I looked at it, and I said
holy cow.
And so it made a lot of sense
to me.
People are going to stop taking
a vitamin when times get tough
or if they get a newer vitamin
or some new and better deal,
but electricity is electricity.
There's nothing different.
And what I saw with this company
is I said, man, we can make
an extra 1,000 bucks a month
because we're not asking people
to buy our electricity.
They're already buying it.
Our product is no better or
worse than anybody else.
It's the same exact thing.
Now they just have a chance to
save a little bit of money and
help us out in the process.
And it just made sense.
Well, I think this business
is for anyone who's swapping
hours for dollars right now.
People make mistakes as they
think, "Well, I'll work harder.
I'll work more."
Well, you run out of hours.
And you can get money back but
you cannot get time back.
Network marketing is the only
vehicle I've ever seen in my
life where literally an average
person can make an above-average
income.
It's not about what you can do.
It's do you know people that
know people, and of course
you do.
I mean, the key to this business
is most people do not want to
get up in front of the room
and talk.
But it's amazing how when
something changes your life,
you want to tell the whole world
about it.
You're not afraid to talk
about it.
>> Not everybody has to be
in-front-of-the-room type
person.
You can be more quiet and still
be very successful with the
business, but I think with us
working as a team I do a lot of
the administrative work.
I do the stuff that nobody sees.
I do all the e-mails and I keep
up with him, as busy as he is.
I keep up with the schedule.
And so I think as a couple,
if one person isn't as good
speaking in front of people that
it's still very doable.
>> You don't have to persuade
someone to use electricity.
You don't have to call them up
every month and say, "Hey, can
I sell you some electricity this
month?"
It's habitually used,
unconsciously paid for.
Folks are going to pay their
electric bill with or without
you, with or without me.
We have a saying, "Everyone you
know uses electricity.
Heck, everyone you don't know
uses electricity," you know?
Some of the paradigm shifts that
we like to talk about is the
paradigm shift of the '80s.
People realized that they could
switch long-distance providers.
It was a monopoly, a $100
billion monopoly.
Well, who got a piece of
the pie?
MCI, Sprint, all these different
companies.
And so for us, we're like, this
is going to happen with
or without us.
I'd just as soon it happen
with us.
And so we jumped on board and,
obviously, the rest is history.
I think the success has happened
in this company because of the
product, because it's
electricity, and it's the most
duplicatable system I've
ever seen.
And I think with this company,
I don't think, I know with this
company they're going to write
history books about us, and I'm
just grateful that we're in.
We were such simple people.
We've bought a house and we
bought the two cars of our
dreams, but other than that,
we don't spend money.
Our lifestyle is the same.
For us, our favorite thing
in the world to do is to be able
to give.
I pray every single day that
God will bless us financially
so we can give abundantly.
And that's our prayer and that
is what motivates me.
Our goal and dream is to build
a baseball stadium for kids.
That's it, where kids can play
baseball for free, and Ignite
is a vehicle for us to be able
to fund that.
And right now the kids don't get
to play for free, not all
of them, you know.
It does cost a lot of money
still.
But the fact of the matter is,
is that we'll never have to turn
down a kid because he can't
afford it.
That is incredible.
And because of this Ignite
opportunity, the Dallas Patriots
have an incredible future ahead
of them.
You know, when money is not
an obstacle, it's amazing what
you can do.
