"My life is about finding balance."
"As a full time mom and yoga instructor, a lot of people depend on me to stay calm, cool and collected."
It was great, thanks. I really needed it.
You did really well.
Thanks.
You know today, the demands and pressures of life can wipe you out.
And before long we neglect the basics, like eating well, getting enough exercise,
and drinking enough water throughout the day.
As unbelievable as it may seem, the majority of people in the U.S. walk around every day
in a mild state of dehydration.
In fact if someone is already experiencing thirst, they are already mildly dehydrated.
The trick is to hydrate before you get to that point.
For basic hydration, room temperature water is best.
Because it doesn't require the body to heat or cool it to absorb it.
The average person consumes about 2000 calories a day, and should injest about 2000 millileters of water everyday.
When water is heated it creates a cleansing effect that we can see in many areas of our lives.
Whether releasing congestion in your sinuses with a hot cup of tea
or sweating away toxins in the sauna.
Heat breaks apart particles which open doors to expel toxins.
Cold water is the ideal beverage after exercising, because it's especially suited
to replace the water in the body that you've lost through perspiration.
Water is a topic that is overlooked by people everday.
But understanding how to harness this building block of life can be the key to balancing yours.
Does anyone have any questions?
