One of the questions we get asked frequently is how do you know when the demons leave during
deliverance? We’ll address the question now of how do you know when demons leave when
putting down its very important during deliverance because that is an important distinction.
To set the stage for this a little bit we call this deliverance ministry 101. This little
graphic we use a lot. It involves a believer here. You see the Holy Spirit in them. Body,
soul and spirit. But they can be tormented and oppressed. They can have strongholds.
Depression, fear, anger and those areas of darkness typically in their soul. And in deliverance
ministry we teach people to understand that behind these can be demonic spirits and things
that we do or are done to us open the door for spirits to enter in. and we would call
this believer now demonically oppressed, not possessed. They are tormented. And this is
what it looks like before deliverance. And wherever the spirits go. We call them out
and send them to dry and uninhabited places and you see a person can have much more fruit
in their life. They see the good fruit of the Holy Spirit being manifested. So that
is what we are talking about when we talk about manifestations during deliverance, during
that process of calling the spirits out. And that’s an important distinction we want
to make here because it’s not how demons manifest in general. They manifest in a variety
of different ways. What we are sharing here is our combined experience in ministering
to literally thousands of people one on one and also in group deliverance seminars
When we prepare people we use a five step process. We don’t let demons talk to us.
We don’t let them manifest. And in fact if we do see a lot there must be an open door
as to why that person is being tormented. We want to make that clear that what we are
seeing and going to share are manifestations that we see in the course of our ministry
session with people. And this is the list. It is not necessarily exclusive. And that’s
not necessarily all of them but these are the major ones. Sometimes we will see physical
movements. With the hands and the legs maybe. And then a release as the spirit goes. Physical
pain sometimes if that person has had a release. Yelling and screaming and the release happens
when the spirit leaves. It can be things like coughing and burping. Eye twitching and just
changes in the facial contortions and facial expressions many times. Sometimes it can be
as simple as just an exhale. As an indication that spirit is leaving. Sometimes there is
little, any and no manifestations whatsoever when that spirit leaves. And sometimes there
is vomiting and what not but that’s the extreme situation. We don’t typically see
that. And sometime quite frankly the person will just tell us they can sense something
leaving them. And this is what you see many times when demons leave a person. We hope
that’s been helpful and thank you for watching.
