The group births a new sound melting together Nicola Conte, Jazzanova and Jamiroquai. Formed in 2016, this Tokyo-based trio's diverse erse background absorbs the musical standards of Japan, America, Brazil, Italy and Southeast Asia. The androgynous vocals, reminiscent of George Michael and Sade, additionally colors the rich sound inspired by jazz, latin, and R&B. Released their first EP “PRIMA” in Apr 2017 and since then this mysterious trio made a big breakthrough. Successfully performed at JZ Brat, one of the most prestigious jazz clubs in Shibuya, Motion Blue Yokohama, a group club of the world’s finest jazz club chain, Blue Note, and The Room, the legendary club led the acid jazz and club jazz movement in Japan. In 2018 this unit is planning to tour around Jakarta and Taiwan aiming to be a musical bridge in between of Tokyo and Asia, as well as Asia and the world. Fontana Folle means "crazy fountain". Let music flow crazily! ミステリアスな多国籍メンバーが紡ぐ、躍動する新世代のボーカルジャズ。ニコラ・コンテ、ジャザノバ、ジャミロクワイが溶け込んだような新サウンドがここに誕生。 2016年結成。日本、アメリカ、ブラジル、イタリア、東南アジアで音楽を吸収してきた多様なバックグラウンドならではの新たなボーカルジャズ像を提示するトリオ。ジャズ、ラテン、R&Bを飲み込んだ豊かなサウンドの中でSadeやGeorge Michaelを彷彿とさせるセクシーで中性的なボーカルが音楽を彩る。 2017年4月に1st Mini Album "PRIMA"を全国リリース。結成1年にして渋谷最大のジャズクラブJZ Bratへの二度の出演、Blue Noteグループの名門Motion Blue Yokohamaへの初出演も果たす。2018年はJakartaを皮切りとした海外公演を中心とした活動を予定しており、東京とアジア、アジアと世界を音楽で繋ぐバンドとしての大きな一歩を踏み出している。 Yoko Yamazaki ****** Yoko is a classically trained pianist/keyboardist/composer based in Tokyo, leading a her own Brazilian crossover jazz group, Laranja. Her passion for piano started since she was little. When she met Brazilian music her classical and jazz background acquired at conservatory flourished. Her composition and phrases are filled by heavily soaked inspiration from lyrical and rhythmic music foundation of Brazilian music. The artists she supported vary: Billboard top 10 track maker Namy, Singaporean star singer Keiwei, and jazzy hiphop pioneer in Asia Kenichiro Nishihara.
