Welcome to part 2 of my genocidal maniac blitz game as the turks.
If you missed part 1, I smashed the garrison at Tbilisi and now I get to sack it.
It's still the other faction's turn, and the rebels want another go of me. This time at Adana.
It's a much larger army than Tbilisi and they've got cavalry this time,
which basically means things are going to be more difficult.
Luckily, I have general's bodyguard and horse archers, so it shouldn't be a problem.
The first thing I need to do is get my *** out of there.
I don't want to fight both cavalry and infantry at the same time.
And since the computer is stupid they'll send everything they've got charging right away.
Since I'm playing with huge unit scale every order I give my cavalry is delayed whilst they reform.
I'll pick off the cavalry first. Unfortunately, it's easier said than done.
Some moron at the rear couldn't see the heavy cavalry coming, and now he's dead.
It doesn't help that the armenian cavalry are in wedge formation.
I can only barely outrun them.
But Mustafa got a good head start, so now he can just sit there and wait whilst I skirmish.
I have the high ground, mother ***. It's not much, but I'll take any bonus I can get.
On equal terms these armenian cavalry would *** *** Mustafa, but today it's armenian genocide.
Their infantry arrive just as the cavalry withdraw. Now I need to get rid of those turkish archers.
*** traitors.
To make matters worse, my horse archers are out of arrows.
It's best I let them just sit and watch for now. Mustafa can handle this.
That makes things easier.
Now that the enemy captain is worm food it should be much easier to get a rout going.
That's one lot of archers out of the way, now for the others.
*** Armenians!
I really don't like losing troops.
And that's the other archers done for.
Running archers down is half my job in this campaign.
Those damn armenians want some more too.
I'm finally in a position to sandwich those spearmen.
Divide and conquer time
And more the same with those other spearmen. ***!
Now I just have to get the remnants to rout all at the same time, but they're all over the place.
That was much more difficult than Tbilisi because I had to make sure not to lose too many troops.
I've gotta keep marching right this, so every man is needed.
It doesn't matter too much if the general's bodyguard takes a few casualties
because they recover on the run.
But those horse archers are permanently downsized. There is no time to replenish them.
The rest of the battle is pretty boring so I'll just skip to the end.
You get the idea anyway.
Overall I think I did pretty well.
Like and subscribe to my channel because part 3 is coming up next.
You will not believe what cities I'm going to take on turn 2.
I will not be stopped
