This is the Hotel On Rivington...
The Hotel on Rivington could not be more centrally located on the Lower East Side on Rivington
and Essex. The area is known for weekend brunches, street fairs, great restaurants, and a really
lively nightlife!
The rooms are stark, with a black and white minimalist decor, but the main decoration
is New York City itself.
Unquestionably, the best thing about the room is the view. Their floor-to-ceiling windows
give you an amazing view of all of Manhattan. There's Uptown, Downtown, I can pick out all
the different neighborhoods like SoHo, the East Village, Chinatown, the Financial District...you
might even have a perfect view of the Empire State Building.
The hotel offers a variety of room categories that feature amenities like Japanese soaking
tubs and balconies, so look for these when you're deciding what room to choose when booking.
Co-op Food and Drink is the hotel's brand new restaurant. It's an American brasserie
with Japanese influence and star chefs from Nobu and Sushi of Gari.
I really like this atrium space with its tall ceiling and striking photos of Lower East
Side figures. I know I'll be coming back to try some of the delicious-looking sushi.
At night the Lounge is a very popular spot. There's a DJ with the beat on the weekends
until late in the evening, and if you want a hotel that has a built-in party, this is
where you go!
